Design Services
As we provide a genuinely bespoke service, we address each project from the initial concept and design stage. Therefore, to ensure that we can deliver a service that is unique and personal to you we request a design fee. This will enable a member of our directly employed team to consider the depth and precision of detail involved in tailoring a design from concept and vision to outstanding reality.
Kitchen Design
At Wolds furniture we understand that each project is unique. One of our directly employed designers will work with you at every stage of your project to ensure that we deliver your dream kitchen. We offer a completely turnkey service, from sourcing floor coverings to fitting your dream kitchen we have it covered. We are proud to say that all of our products are procured from sustainable sources and are completely bespoke. Your dream kitchen can be fitted in just six simple steps…
Step One: Initial Enquiry and Design Fee:
Following your initial enquiry, we will arrange to visit you to discuss your vision and provide inspiration. Once we have discussed your kitchen in detail, we will issue you a budget for the proposed works. If this budget meets your expectations, we will then issue a design fee which will move us onto step two.
Step Two: Design and Consultation:
Once we have received your design fee we will utilize our inhouse designers to prepare a detailed concept for your feedback until we reach a point where we can proceed to manufacture. In parallel to this, we will issue a detailed quotation for the final concept.
Step Three: Deposit paid & order placed!
Once you are happy with your new kitchen design and quote – we ask that you pay a 35% deposit which will secure your place with our production schedule. Your design will be sent to our lead carpenter Peter and his team, who will ensure that your kitchen is made as per your signed off design and is finished to our high standards.
Step Four: Paint shop & quality control
Once Peter and his team have finished handcrafting your kitchen, Gavin will then check each element to ensure it has been built to a high standard. Only then will your kitchen be ready to be hand painted by Alicia and Adam. Once the final coat has been applied it will be checked over once again to ensure that it is ready for step five. Kate, who will have been in touch with you throughout the process will contact you to confirm specific delivery details. Prior to painting, you will need to pay a second 35% instalment for your order.
Step Five: Delivery & installation
We pride ourselves on our ability to meet delivery dates as we control every element of the process. Once your new kitchen has been carefully offloaded by our team, we will get to work with the installation process. Jack and his team will oversee every element of our works at this stage.
Step Six: Handover & Enjoy!
Once we have finished installing your kitchen, our team will carry out a thorough quality check with you and leave you to enjoy your new bespoke kitchen. You will be left with a full handover pack which details how to care for your kitchen. Following completion of the works, you will be issued with our final invoice for the remaining 30%.
Bathroom Design
There are many factors that need to be taken into account when designing a bathroom, this room can often be the most stressful one to design! Our experienced team will use their knowledge of the industry to deliver a stress-free design service bespoke to you.
Step One: Initial Enquiry and Design Fee
Following your initial enquiry, we will arrange a visit to your property such that we will be able to discuss design ideas, offer inspiration and issue a budget. If you would like to proceed to a comprehensive quote complete with CAD images, we will then issue you a design fee which will move us onto step two.
Step Two: Design and Quotation
Once we have received your design fee we will meet with you again to discuss final layouts, bathroom spec and tile choices. Once these have been agreed we will then issue you a comprehensive quote complete with CAD designs and images of your proposed sanitaryware.
Step Three: Deposit paid & order placed!
Once you are happy with your new bathroom design and quote – we ask that you pay a 35% deposit which will secure your place with our production schedule. We will issue a target programme of works, agree a start date and proceed with your order.
Step Four: Delivery & installation
We pride ourselves on our ability to meet delivery dates as we control every element of the process. Once we have started on site, we will keep you updated with all aspects of the project. We will issue an invoice at the end of the first phase of your project.
Step Five: Handover & Enjoy!
Once we have finished installing your new bathroom, including all tiling and floor coverings, we will issue you with our final invoice.
Interior Design Service
We offer a flexible interior design service. From floor finishes and fabrics to wall colours and tile choices - we have it covered! No matter how large or small the project, our flexible service means you can benefit from the knowledge of our interior’s experts. Our interior design fee is dependent on the size and nature of the project, after your free initial consultation we will be able to issue you a detailed quote for our service. The below services are intended as a general guide of what to expect from our interior design service. As each project is unique, it will be tailored to your exact requirements.
Step one
Free Consultation – Make an appointment at our showroom to chat with our designer about your project, from here we will get an understanding of your design brief and requirements. After this meeting we will present you with a design fee which is bespoke to your project.
Step two
Our designers will meet with you to chat in more detail about the design, take measurements, pictures and create and agree on a design brief.
Step three
Design presentation – you will be presented with mood boards, drawings and samples. Following consultation and revisions we will reach a final signed off design concept.
Step Four
Once you’re ready to go ahead our designer will arrange all aspects, including placing orders and arranging relevant trades. This is all part of our fully project managed turnkey service.
